The Easiest DIY Christmas Ornaments for Young Kids

Looking for some easy ways to make DIY Christmas ornaments with young kids that you’ll actually want to keep for years to come? We rounded up some of our favorite cute, but simple homemade Christmas ornaments for little kids. Making ornaments together is a great way to get into the holiday spirit with your kids!

Easy Christmas Ornaments for Young Children

Homemade ornaments are one of my grandkids favorite things to do around the holidays. They love making them and also seeing them hanging on the tree all Christmastime. It’s a fun way to get your children involved in decorating the house for the holidays! 

Not only are each of these a great keepsake, they also help with children’s fine motor skills and creativity! They also make great gifts for other family members! Remember, the important part is having fun making the ornaments, not what they look like at the end. 

1. Snowman Handprint Ornaments

If you like the ornaments with hand prints on them, try these super cute snowman ornaments! They look like glass ornaments, but they’re actually plastic and easy to make. These are one of the cutest kid-made ornaments we’ve tried.
