Simple and Fun Easter Bunny Craft for Young Kids
Looking for an easy bunny craft to do with younger kids this spring or Easter season? Try our simple paper plate bunny craft that ‘s perfect for little hands! It’s a great way to craft on or around Easter or anytime this spring season.
We love simple projects for young kids especially when there’s a lot of other things going on around holidays. There’s so many creative ways to make bunnies, but we kept our bunny craft pretty easy. And the best part is that it’s very hard to mess up this simple craft, even for little kids.

Supplies You’ll Need
Everything you need to make this easy craft can be found at the local dollar store or craft store. Here’s everything we used to make our bunnies:
- White Paper Plates
- Cotton Balls
- Construction Paper (white, black, and pink)
- Glue
- Optional: Googly Eyes

You can also use white pom pom if those are easier to find for you. We used craft glue, but you can use regular white glue or tacky glue if you have some on hand. And this is what we cut out of the construction paper:

How to Make A Simple Bunny
First, cut out the bunny’s ears from white card stock or construction paper. Glue these onto the plate first, so the bottoms are covered by the cotton balls.

Next, your child will glue the cotton balls onto the paper plate. The easiest way to do this is have them put the glue right onto the plate either using the bottle or Q-tips to dab on the glue. They can use a lot of glue to make sure the cotton balls stick, it may just take longer to dry.

Try to cover the entire plate with the cotton balls. You may need to squish the cotton balls together or fill in any of the holes to help younger ones.
Then, add the eyes and nose. You can use the googly eyes or cut out two black dots from construction paper. Lastly, we used a black marker to add a mouth and whiskers.
